FAQ
The Answers You Need
ARE YOU A MEDICAL PRACTICE?
While Dr. Teju has received training in all facets of family medicine, her current emphasis is on offering education and tools to support individuals in achieving their best possible health. Itura Health does not function as a medical practice; rather, it serves as a platform for individuals to acquire knowledge and expand their understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle choices can influence their well-being, promoting longevity and reducing reliance on pharmaceutical medications.
DO YOU REQUIRE COACHING CLIENTS TO HAVE A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR?
It is highly recommended to have a primary medical care provider. This recommendation is primarily based on the expected decline in blood sugar, blood pressure, and various health indicators as an individual progresses towards weight loss and improved health. Itura Health does not oversee the management of these medical conditions, and such declines can potentially result in risky situations if medications are not reviewed or modified accordingly.
WHAT MAKES YOUR PROGRAMS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER HEALTH/LIFESTYLE COACHING PROGRAMS?
While Dr. Teju may not be familiar with all the existing health coaching programs, she possesses a strong commitment to empowering individuals through continuous educational content, a significant component of her program. Her medical background and experience as a family medicine physician provide her with a comprehensive understanding of the human body from an anatomical and physiological standpoint. Her approach is rooted in her observation of natural principles, and her application of these principles provide favorable outcomes for her clients.
